and heartbreak of circumstances. His unbeaten physical superiority and ultimate mere
mortality. The bravery and courage with which he faced his challenges, and the painful
heartbreak we all felt for him. His fleetingly short time with us here on earth and his timelessly
immeasurable gifts left in medical advancements for all horses on earth now and yet to be
born. Barbaro's legacy will not be in the fuzzy headed foals of spring pastures, but in the
ease and grace with which he was able to focus the energies of so many and turn them into
something larger than himself. Like sunlight through a prism.
He has touched us all. We thank the Jacksons and Barbaro for being a part of our lives.
